: One match play squad of 2 players for 1½ hours a week on Tactics and Mental training.
: 4 – 5 practise sessions of 2 hours duration a week with a suitable standard practise partner = 8 – 10 hours practise a week. This is arranged and carried out by the players between themselves with the coach facilitating the practise but not being present when it is carried out to help aid independence and problem solving. If a suitable practise partner is not available then players can do a specifically tailored hitting session with a parent or pro hitter. If there is none such available then other squad programmes can be accessed as long as there is no Technical input from other coaches.
: The main bulk of the Practise sessions with a practise partner revolve around a competitive points structure which targets baseline play, serve, return and net play. These sessions can be individualised to suit the player that may have a technical weakness they need to practise.
: When hitting with a parent or pro hitter the session is based on drills that encompass all areas of play.
: Individual off court physical training programme includes flexibility, Cardio – vascular, muscular Endurance and strength training in phasic (body movement) and posture.
: A Goal setting or reminder sheet once a year for Technical, Tactical, Physical and Mental training but this can be altered if unexpected problems occur + 3 tournament visits a year where i can observe the player in match conditions.
